Cameron Diaz and her husband Benji Madden have announced the arrival of their baby girl.
The 47-year-old actress and her 40-year-old rockstar husband announced the shock news via Instagram.

“Happy New Year from the Maddens!” Diaz and Madden said on the social media platform. “We are so happy, blessed and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden. She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family.”
The post continued: “So we won’t be posting pictures or sharing any more details, other than the fact that she is really really cute! Some would even say RAD,” Diaz added along with a smiley-face emoji.
“From our family to all of yours, we’re sending our love and best wishes for a Happy New Year and Happy New Decade”.
Benji and Cameron met in 2014 and got hitched in 2015.
In 2014, the There’s Something About Mary Star told Esquire that she “was never drawn to being a mother”.
However a source revealed to PEOPLE that her view quickly changed after marrying her Good Charlotte star hubby.
“She has settled in, settled down and wants to have a family,” a source told PEOPLE. “She is doing everything she can to enjoy this time in her life. She is feeling fulfilled and wants to be a mom.”
“[Cameron] will take things as they come, but don’t be surprised to see her calm down a bit and get in the best shape for a possible pregnancy,” added the insider.
When speaking about her relationship with Madden, Cameron told InStyle recently that marrying Benji was the best decision she ever made.
“I just want to build better, stronger friendships with the people who are in it with me. Of course, that includes my husband. Getting married to him was the best thing that ever happened to me.
“My husband’s the best. He’s the greatest human being, and he’s my great partner. Marriage is certainly hard, and it’s a lot of work. You need somebody who’s willing to do the work with you, because there’s no 60-40 in marriage. It’s 50-50 period. All the time.”
