Charles Manson has died at age 83.
Manson, who was the sinister leader behind the 1969 killing actress Sharon Tate and six others, died Sunday, TMZ reported.
Debra Tate, the sister of Sharon, confirmed the news to TMZ.
Manson was taken to hospital in January this year for intestinal bleeding. According to reports he was meant to undergo surgery but it was deemed too risky.
