He’s worked with, and become close friends with ex-MasterChef judges Matt Preston, Gary Mehigan and George Calombaris for several years, but Curtis Stone is adamant that he is a fan of Back To Win’s new judges.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Stone admitted that after filming a guest spot earlier this year with Melissa Leong, Jock Zonfrillo and Andy Allen, he thinks they ‘work really well’ for the new line-up.
“Change always feels weird, but I think it’s going very well for all of them, to be honest,” he said.
The LA-based chef went on to say that despite the sudden dumping of Preston, Mehigan and Calombaris, there were no hard feelings from the former judges.
“It was a very different feeling … but good wishes from the ex-judges were given and they were genuine,” he said.
Curtis also mused that the timing of the revamped series couldn’t be more perfect, as people are currently spending a greater amount of time watching TV due to the coronavirus lockdown laws.

“The timing is brilliant,” he said.
“We all have more time on our hands and if you think about it we are all not only cooking more but cooking more adventurously.
“I’ve gotten a ton of calls from people who are getting adventurous and making their own bread.”
