She proved herself to be the Queen of Married At First Sight after delivering an empowering speech slamming ex-husband Sam for fat shaming her.
And the reality star stuck by her words during a live appearance on Talking Married following the show.
“I got the platform to talk about real issues out there,” she told the panel.
“I was a great experience because I got to highlight things that go on in today’s society that are not okay. It’s cool for a woman to own her confidence.”
Sam became one of the most hated cast mates after body shaming Elizabeth during their wedding ceremony, telling the camera he’s ever been with a woman “as big as Elizabeth” and suggesting “maybe I’ll get her running in the mornings, drag her out of bed… she’ll be right, we’ll get her going.”
“I feel like there’s a lot of young females who watch this show and they’re looking at that going, ‘Oh, am I not okay? Am I not going to be worthy of someone because they consider me big?'” Lizzie continued.
“We don’t need any more of that, you gotta own yourself and there’s nothing wrong with that, nothing at all.”
