The 1982 Steven Spielberg directed sci-fi film E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial has gone down in history as one of the most classic alien hits.
Aged 11 when E.T. was released, Henry Thomas had only one previous film acting credit to his name, 1981’s Raggedy Man.
The actor, now aged 46, has gone on to star in a number of films including Dear John and Ouija: Origin of Evil since he took on the role of Elliott.
Continuing on with his acting career, he will appear in the upcoming Netflix supernatural horror series The Haunting of Hill House, based on the 1959 novel of the same name by Shirley Jackson.
The series will begin streaming on October 12.
