Guy Sebastian has been accused of favouritism on The Voice as the show hits the knockout rounds.
The 37-year-old has caused a stir by choosing long time friend Chynna Taylor over newbie Conor Smith, and professional vocalist Akina Edmonds.
“There wasn’t these moments that I let you really explode and show what you’re capable of,” he said after the trio performed ‘Papa Don’t Preach’.
“I’ve known you for a long time… I know that there’s this insane voice there,” he followed up before choosing his Chynna in the final decision.
The pair know one another from X-Factor in 2016 where Guy also mentored the US-born singer.
Fans were quick to hit social media and voice their frustrations.
Guy is no stranger to stirring the pot.
In May this year he slammed Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea, confessing he “never liked” her when they worked together on The X-Factor.

“I’m pretty honest, when I don’t like them,” he told Kyle Sandilands and Jackie Henderson on the Kyle & Jackie O Show, “Like, I never liked Iggy.”
“She was awful to me. Like I had stuff on with my kids, she made us all wait for like three hours or something and then lobs up and has attitude,” he said. “Like if I’m making everyone wait – which happens ’cause you know, I’m not the best with time – at least charm it on a bit.
“Go ‘oh I’m sorry I’m so late.’ Make up something.”
“Iggy would walk in and be like, ‘My time’s my time, whatever. Get over it.'”
