22-year-old Bieber is developing quite the catalogue of skin art.
The pop-singer reportedly has more than 50 tattoos, but the newest addition to Bieber’s spreading ink work has left fans particularly surprised — not least because of its location.
On May 6, Bieber — who is currently in the middle of his Purpose world tour – dropped by New York’s West 4th Tattoo Parlor and got a small tattoo near his right eye. Unlike the much larger face adornment Zayn Malik teased fans with earlier this autumn, this one is very much real.
“Justin came in last night and decided on a small cross near the corner of his eye,” tattoo artist Jonboy revealed to Us Magazine. “It represents his journey in finding purpose with God.”
The singer’s close pal Joe Termini got an identical marking on his face. Earlier this year the baby-faced singer told GQ that he would consider a face tattoo when he was “really old, not super old … maybe 40s or 50s or something.”
