Last month we reported esteemed Australian actress Cornelia Frances was diagnosed with bladder cancer, but now in an exclusive new chat with A Current Affair, she reveals it has spread to her thigh as she fights for her life.
Speaking from her hospital bed on the Channel Nine news program, the 76-year-old said, “It’s a hard road, but we’ll get there.”
When quizzed about her current state of health, the famous red-head revealed, “I’m feeling fine, albeit what’s inside me. I’m really feeling ok. The pain comes and goes but you expect that.”
“It’s par for the course. We’re gonna fight it, by God I am,” she fiercely projects.
And she wanted to let her fans know her gratitude for their love and support, saying you haven’t heard the last from the “TV b—-” yet.
