As Taylor Swift gets ready for her Reputation Stadium Tour show, she received a present from a surprising old friend slash enemy Katy Perry.
The stars who have had a difficult history after feuding publically, but it seems Katy’s gift may have put an end to all the Bad Blood.
Swift, 28, took to Instagram to share a video of the present — which included an olive branch and heartfelt letter.
Filming the package, Swift said, “I just got to my dressing room and found this actual olive branch. This means so much to me.”
“Hey Old Friend — I’ve been doing some reflecting on past miscommunications and hurt feelings between us,” Perry, 33, penned in the letter, in which she also issued an apology, saying she was “deeply sorry” and wanted to “clear the air.”
While Swift has been relatively quiet on the feud front, Perry opened up about her dramas with Swift during an honest interview on The Thrive Global Podcast during her weekend-long live stream while promoting her latest album.
“I am ready to let it go,” Perry told Thrive CEO Arianna Huffington. “I forgive her and I’m sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her … I love her, and I want the best for her. And I think she’s a fantastic songwriter.”
So, is this proof that the girls are finally seeing the light?!
