Married At First Sight bride Elizabeth has opened up about what really happened before her new husband Sam, and why she just wasn’t expecting to be left alone like that.

The morning after their wedding Sam told Elizabeth that his ex-girlfriend’s mother had passed away, and that he would be flying to New Zealand for the funeral.
Elizabeth sympathised and was fine with that, but became frustrated when she learnt that he was only booking a one-way ticket, and that she wouldn’t be going on their honeymoon.
“He held me the night before and there was nothing to make me ever think that day or night that he was not interested,” she told 9Honey. “There was nothing he was showing me that would make me think he wasn’t.”
So all seemed fine before Sam became the runaway groom less than 24 hours after they met and wed.
“I woke up before Sam and I called my bridesmaid Beth and then I went back to bed and he was there holding my hand and saying ‘Oh, your skin’s so soft.’
“So it was a shock and my bridesmaid can vouch for this ’cause she was on the phone.”
So you can understand why being left alone without any contact and no idea when Sam was coming back would have been frustrating for Liz.
But according to reports, things will be getting worse. The latest rumours are that Sam dumps Elizabeth for Ines, who is currently paired up with ex-striper Bronson.
