In the video, which has since gone viral, fans raised concerns for the safety of the Argentinian-born actress and model after Bublé appeared to sharply elbow his wife and then aggressively pull her in for a hug.
“Hi, guys,” Bublé says in the clip before Luisana chimes in, “Hi”.
He then nudges her and grabs her arm, to which she responds, “Oh, I’m sorry. Sorry.”

One fan reposted the video on Twitter and wrote, “Plz tell me what you think of this … to all of us is clearly a man being abusive with his wife, the way he grabbed her by the arm … that’s Michael Bublé … she keeps on denying it but there’s so many videos of him and treating her the same way.”
Many fans were quick to voice their concerns over the video.
Some social media users even resurfaced old videos of Bublé in which he appears to act in an aggressive manner towards his wife.
In one of the videos, Bublé reprimands Lopilato and says, “You’re so dead,” after she shows up next to him two minutes late. Another video that a fan resurfaced shows Lopilato recording herself on a front-facing camera as Bublé tells her, “I’m going to kill you.”
The context behind the videos are not known.
While the Canadian singer has yet to comment on the incident, Luisana publicly defended her husband in an Instagram statement shared on Monday, with Hola! translating the message from Spanish.
“It’s incredible how some people are!! While we are in the middle of a pandemic, and living our lives under quarantine, angst, fear, loneliness, and uncertainty of all kinds! [I] come out every day with my husband to try to do [Instagram] lives to bring some happiness, entertainment, longing, and we have to put up with, hear and see what people with ill intentions are posting without knowing anything about our family and after all the pain that we have experienced, I want you all to know that I have no doubts about who my husband is and that I would choose him again a thousand times over,” she wrote.
In another post, Luisana, who shares sons Noah, 6, Elias, 4, and daughter Vida, 1 with Michael wrote: “Always do the right thing and let God handle the consequences.”
She added in the caption: “I want everyone to know that I have no doubt who my husband is and I would choose him again a million times over.”
A representative for the couple told People: There will be no further commenting on this ridiculous allegation. All anyone needs to do is see them together on Facebook Live every day. They are equal and loving partners and treat each other with the greatest respect. They are a beautiful couple.”
Michael and Luisiana first met back in 2009, when Lopilato played his love interest for his single Haven’t Met You Yet.

Michael only recently returned to social media after quitting the platforms in 2016 when his son, Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer aged three years old.
Noah has since recovered and is now in remission.
