But things got a little too hot for My Kitchen Rules‘ Piper and Victor – who’ve now confirmed they’ve broken up.
Their romance caused the most explosive feud in My Kitchen Rules history.
The beauty queen became the centre of controversy when it was revealed she had strategically scored in an attempt to save her secret lover Victor from elimination.
However, things backfired for the 35-year-old who was left caught out in a string of lies during the Ultimate Instant Restaurant rounds.
Piper and Veronica were sent home, narrowly missing the finals.
New Idea confirmed the mum-of-two and Victor have indeed called it a day.
“We weren’t ever dating, we were never anything like that,” Piper said.
“It was mutually just we were very, very, very close friends. I don’t have anything bad to say about him at all.
“It’s not that it didn’t work out. We sort of kind of set that guideline from the beginning. We knew that he was in Melbourne, I was in Sydney. I live a completely different life than him. I’m a mum with two kids.”
“He’s a single guy, no kids, living in another state. It just was what it was and I think we both just really valued that friendship and bond that we had during the show and we’re still friends.”
