Fellow single-mum and WAG, Phoebe Burgess shared a message of support for good friend Nadia Bartel after she finally opened up about her surprise split from husband Jimmy last year.

In an interview with Stellar magazine over the weekend, Nadia admitted her marriage breakdown has been ‘tough’.
And with Phoebe herself going through her own relationship split – she called time on her marriage to retired NRL star Sam Burgess last October – the Bowral-based mum of two shared a touching message to close friend Nadia, urging her to ‘soldier on’.
‘Proud mumma. Soldier on NB. It’s what we do…’ she wrote in an Instagram Story on Sunday.
Speaking to Stellar on Sunday, Nadia, 34, admitted ‘every day is tough’ as she adjusts to life as a single mother, saying: ‘This is never what I thought would happen.’
The 34-year-old admitted it was particularly hard to see hateful comments written about her online.
‘I was at the hardest point in my life and then to have articles written that weren’t true, and to have hundreds of hate [comments] on Instagram and the continual pounding… it was difficult,’
However, the Melbourne-based fashionista says she is focusing on all her attention on the former couple’s two sons, Aston, four and Henley, one.
‘I want my boys to be aware of their feelings. And if they are feeling a certain way, they can show that feeling. They are allowed to cry and allowed to come to me and say what’s happening’.’
