Princess Mary and Prince Frederik hold hands at Prince Charles 70th birthday

The Australian-born royal was the picture of love.

In the week dedicated to Prince Charles’ 70th birthday, a beautiful new photo has been shared from his Buckingham Palace party – a snap of Crown Princess Mary of Denmark and Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark.

When we see a mix of international royals in one room, it’s usually for a royal wedding.

But the power of the Prince of Wales has seen Europes glitterati flock to London to mark the Duke of Cornwall’s big milestone.

A private bash, hosted by Queen Elizabeth, saw Prince Fred and Princess Mary join the likes of Prince HarryMeghan Markle, Prince William, Duchess Kate, along with Charles’ wife Duchess Camilla.

Princess Mary shared a snap shot on their official Instagram page.

The 46-year-old wore a one-shoulder velvet gown, with her a gold belt around her waist.

The mum-of-four had her hair swept back teamed with gold drop earrings.

Her prince looked dashing in a navy tuxedo.

The Prince of Wales has had a grand time as he settles into his 7th decade.

The birthday boy marked the milestone with two new British royal portrait featuring Prince HarryMeghan Markle, Prince William, Duchess KatePrince GeorgePrincess Charlotte , Prince Louis AND Duchess Camilla.

He also had his very own BBC documentary Prince, Son and Heir: Charles at 70, which features a photo with baby Louis!

And then there was the Google Virtual Tour – which revealed a snap of him and baby Prince George.
