Beloved New Zealand actor Pua Magasiva, 38, has died.
The actor’s body was found at his Wellington home on Saturday.
Police have confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances.
Pua’s brother and fellow actor Robbie Magasiva has flown to Wellington to be alongside his sister-in-law Lizz Sadler and other Magasiva family members.
Pua is best known for his roles on the long-running New Zealand soap Shortland Street – where he has played nurse Vinnie Kruse-Miller since 1994 – and the Power Rangers movies.
The star had just celebrated his first wedding anniversary with wife Lizz.
The pair married in April last year, 18 months after meeting on Instagram.
Magasiva also leaves behind a young daughter from his first marriage.
Tributes to the actor have been posted from fans and fellow actors.
Olympian Dame Valerie Adams tweeted: “Rest In Peace Pua Magasiva. Thoughts and prayers to the family”.
Fellow Outrageous Fortune co-star Shane Cortese said he had experienced the honour of seeing the glint in Magasiva’s eye “and the sound of his hearty laugh close hand”.
“My heart goes out to the Magasiva family.”
