Sydney nightlife identity John Ibrahim certainly has a body of work – showing off his ripped torso during an outing to Bondi Beach.
But as well as his lean and mean physique, another thing was very noticeable – a very prominent vertical scar, that is reportedly the consequence of a knifing – and subsequent life-saving surgery – when he was just a teen.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald a man attacked the then-17-year old after producing a knife from a folded newspaper, and slashing into his stomach.
The horrifying incident reportedly required 5000 stitches as doctors labored to save his liver, intestines and lungs.

Speaking of being shot, he has said, ‘I lost a lot of blood. One (bullet) scraped, the other lodged between two ribs.’
