While Australia appears to be in the middle of a toilet paper shortage due to consumers panic-buying amidst the Coronavirus outbreak, the Melbourne-based fashionista is taking no chances when it comes to her loo roll supply.
The 37-year-old shared footage of empty shelves where toilet paper was usually stocked at her local Coles supermarket with her Instagram fans.

“Guys, for real. This is the Brighton Coles and there’s no toilet paper,” she said with a laugh as she panned over the empty shelves.

“There’s a bit left so I’m grabbing it all, just down there,” she said. “That’s it, that’s where the toilet paper usually lives.”
“Oh, my God. Imagine not having any toilet paper. Far out,” the mum-of-four exclaimed.
In the next slide, Rebecca shared a picture of three packs of toilet paper safely stashed in the backseat of her Land Rover.
‘Bought three packs,’ she captioned the picture alongside a see-no-evil monkey emoji. ‘People were stocking up on toothpaste and long life milk too.’

A wave of coronavirus panic-buying has seen many supermarkets cleared out of everyday items, according to 7news.
Blanket media coverage of the global spread of the virus and the confirmation of Australia’s first death from the infection prompted a rush on the weekend for staple items such as toilet paper, nappies, long life milk and hand sanitiser, according to the outlet.
On Monday evening Coles released a statement saying they were working hard to replenish their depleted shelves.
“Coles has increased the number of deliveries to stores this week to improve availability on popular products, such as long-life pantry staples and healthcare items,” the statement reads.
“Like many retailers, we currently have a shortage of some antibacterial hand washes and hand sanitiser products due to high customer demand.
“We are continuing to work with our suppliers to maintain availability for customers.”
