Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell has revealed that she is pregnant! The star is expecting her first child with Canadian actor boyfriend Matte Babel.
Revealing the news in a YouTube video titled “Guess Who’s Preggers?”, Mitchell reveals that she was already six months along in her pregnancy and that it will be a baby girl!

The YOU star previously revealed to her fans that she suffered from a miscarriage last year, so we’re assuming that the barrage of negative comments fans have been leaving on her social media is very unwelcome to the actress.
Proudly shown off her belly on Instagram, she has allowed fans to follow her through this pregnancy journey, however, she has faced a lot of criticism instead.
In one post, Shay posed for a stunning bikini photo with her friend Alex Merrell.
The majority of commenters are complimenting the star on her pregnancy and the glow that comes with it, however, one user couldn’t wrap their head around her pregnancy. “How?? Is she married?” they asked.
Shay replied, “Not married, can you believe it still happened?!!”
Another person wondered about her “baby daddy.” The 32-year-old responded with the shrugging emoji.
However, the most ‘controversial’ post comes in the form of Shay Mitchell’s lunch. The actress posted a photo of a delicious spread of tomatoes, olives, breadsticks, and prosciutto. One ‘suggestion’ for pregnant women is that deli meats are ‘off-limits’.
“You shouldn’t eat that,” one Instagram user wrote, with the pregnant lady emoji added in.
Shay responded: “Can I still have the wine tho?!”
According to the American Pregnancy Association, certain foods should be avoided for pregnant people. Some include cold deli meats/uncooked meats as well as certain soft cheeses.
Alcohol is definitely an unsafe beverage while pregnant, but we’re certain Shay was joking with that comment.
We think this is Shay’s way of letting these commenters to that she does not need parenting advice from them.
