The Bachelor’s Nick Cummins has only recently been announced as Australia’s newest rose-bearer but he’s already causing controversy as the Wallabies star allegedly already knows one of the contestants which is set to compete for his love on the hit Channel Ten show.
According to The Daily Telegraph, gorgeous blonde Cassandra Wood has “has known him closely for at least a year and has possibly dated the rugby union star.”
One friend even told the publication that the two “were dating”.
“They’ve definitely been more than just friends,” the source continued.
The newspaper also reports that Wood was not aware that Cummins was going to be the Bachelor until production began this week.
When pressed about the controversial news, Channel Ten released an official statement. “Ten will neither confirm or deny speculation about the identity of rumoured Bachelorettes on this season of The Bachelor Australia, and looks forward to revealing the contestants to viewers later this year,” it read.
While the “Honey Badger” has a huge social media following, it appears Woods has a bit of a profile herself, having been a Home And Away extra in the past and even a former Miss Universe.
