Sunday night’s episode of The Block made for interesting viewing after Jesse and Mel laid into rival contestants Mitch and Mark’s room reveal.

After Mitch and Mark beat Jesse and Mel by half a point to win last week’s room reveals, the couple DID NOT hold back, with Jesse even going as far as comparing the duo’s house to a “public toilet.”
‘I think the judges 100 per cent got the decision wrong,’ Jesse said to camera, while Mel couldn’t help having a dig and Mitch and Mark’s choice of Kate Moss portrait in the spare room.
“Kate Moss, whatever, a fur coat… I’m not going to be like ‘I want that house because did you see the fur coat on the bed?’”
Jesse added: “I’d walk in the house and go ‘I’m about to be sick on the floor here, because it looks like a public toilet. I don’t think I’ll buy this.’”
“I’m really pleased that they made the design choice they did with the floor plan, as I think it’s actually they’ve taken themselves out of the competition and everyone has a better chance to win.”
Earlier this month, Jesse and Mel took part in an exclusive photoshoot and interview with WHO, with the pair admitting their time on The Block had been a huge physical challenge.
“It’s the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. It’s so hard to get work done during the day when filming is happening, and a lot of the work like plastering, laying flooring and painting is done at night after 6pm. So, you wake up at 6am every morning and work 20 hours!” Jesse spilled.
