Home And Away’s Ray Meagher, the actor behind the iconic Alf Stewart, has confirmed that the hit Aussie soap will be introducing a gay character.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Meagher revealed that a gay male character is set to be introduced into the series storyline later this year.
“Our writers do try to keep abreast with the times, so there is an interesting character coming in,” Ray told the publication. “And we’re all very pleased about it.”
Home And Away airs Monday – Thursday at 7pm on Channel 7.
