Sam Frost has spoken out for the first time since her split from Sasha Mielczarek.
The radio star, who ended their 18-month relationship late last year, admits she went into hiding in Melbourne to cope with her heartache.
“I’ve been at home in Melbourne, I spent a good two months at home with my family. I was just hiding and spending really quality time getting back to myself and my roots,” she told The Daily Telegraph.
“I was just getting back with the people who I love and have loved me unconditionally. So that’s where I’ve been hiding.”
Mielczarek also recently spoke about their break-up to WHO.
“Distance was mainly the reason,” he said as the reason for the split.
“Basically, Sam would get up early for 2DayFM breakfast show Rove and Sam and I couldn’t really talk to her till about midday and by that stage I was at work … so not being able to talk to Sam during the day was tough for me.”
He continued: “Then by the time I finished work, sometimes at 9pm, she was already asleep. So that was challenging.”
