Adam Levine has addressed rumours he had an affair with influencer and model Sumner Stroh, 23, days after he and wife Behati Prinsloo announced they were expecting their third child.

“A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air. I used poor judgement in speaking to anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner,” the Maroon 5 frontman said in a statement shared to Instagram.
“I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life. In certain instances it became inappropriate.”
The singer said he has since “addressed that” and has taken steps to “remedy” the issue with his family, adding that his wife and children as “all I care about in this world”.
“To be this naïve and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make,” he continued.
“I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together.”
Stroh accused the married father of two of cheating with her, claiming that he even suggested naming his new baby after her.
She posted a TikTok running through the allegations, where she said that she had an affair with “a man who’s married to a Victoria’s Secret model” for around a year.
“Embarrassed I was involved with a man w[ith] this utter lack of remorse and respect,” she captioned the TikTok, in which she shared a number of suppsed screenshots of Instagram DM’s with Levine.
“Quite frankly, I feel exploited,” she said before explaining that the alleged affair began when she was “young” “naive” and “easily manipulated.”
In what appear to be screenshots of a conversation with Levine, he seemed to suggest naming his unborn child after her.
“Ok serious question,” the message read. “I’m having another baby and if it’s a boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You okay with that? DEAD serious.”
Sumner claims she received this message in June, months after they had ceased contact with each other.
The video which quickly racked up over 649k likes on Tik Tok was met with some level of suspicion by fans online who questioned the validity of the screenshots, however, this isn’t the first time Adam has been at the forefront of cheating rumours.
In August, Kyle and Jackie O spoke to a listener who claimed their friend received a number of DM’s from the internationally famous singer.
“I know he’s got a wife but he messages her,” the woman named Tahlia revealed on air.
“What type of messages?” asked Jackie.
“He DMs her, like ‘oh you look good today, can’t wait till I’m in Australia’,” Tahlia laughed. Just days later, the anonymous friend shared details of the conversation.
“We were talking for about four days and then it was just on and off messages … we would just send selfies to each other,” she explained to Kyle and Jackie O.
“It wasn’t anything raunchy,” she confirmed, before revealing that she “backed out a little bit” after realising he was married.
Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo have been married since 2014 and are expecting their third child. The couple already share two daughters, Dusty-Rose, 5 and Gio Grace, 4.
Pregnant Behati has chosen not to publicly acknowledged the allegations.
