Bec Zacharia and Danny Hewitt had one of the funniest and most light-hearted weddings of the MAFS 2026 series so far.
As the bride-to-be stood at the top of the altar with her soon-to-be husband, she recognised one of the guests as famous stripper and Channing Tatum lookalike, Will Parfitt.
“Has anyone ever told you you look like, what’s his name?” the real estate agent said, pointing to Danny’s mate in the audience.
The response left Danny and his side of the room in a fit of laughter, with the groom confirming: “It is him!”
A strong start for Bec and Danny
The funny moment at the beginning of their nuptials acted as a good omen for the rest of their wedding – hopefully a good sign for what’s to come.
The biggest revelation was that Will had recently been “well acquainted” with one of friend of hers… if you catch my drift.
“You slept with my friend the other night!” Bec said. The room erupted in shocked laughter, with Will shaking his face in embarrassment.
“I didn’t recognise the bride so that’s all that matters,” he said to producers later.
Bec becomes tearful at Danny’s joke in vows
The wedding started with plenty of banter; however, it quickly turned when Danny said he was looking for a Bonnie & Clyde kind of love, so explained Bec will need to be the one breaking him out of jail when he’s there.
What was supposed to be a throwaway joke triggered frustration in Bec, who said she wasn’t interested in a guy who goes to jail and spends time with his stripper mate.
Yikes.
Are Bec and Danny still together?
As we all know, the contestants are not in charge of their social media until the weddings have all aired.
Therefore, viewers will have to wait and see what happened between the pair.
