Well, The Bachelor is over for another year, and Chelsie McLeod is the official holder of Matt Agnew’s heart after an emotional finale that gave us all of the feels.
And now their love is out in the open, the astrophysicist and his chemical engineer girlfriend have a little something they want to share with the country.
WATCH: The Bachelor Matt and winner Chelsie have a message for Australia.
“Hey guys, thanks for watching, thanks for following us on this journey,” says a grinning Matt.
“Obviously, I picked Chelsie, and just couldn’t be happier with being able to be out in the world together without having to hide it all.”
Chelsie’s pretty chuffed to finally shout their love from the rooftops, too.
“It was so exciting to be able to share our journey with all of you, but we’re also very excited now to be able to do our own normal thing and start a normal relationship.”

In what could be dubbed the cutest rose ceremony we’ve seen to date, the hunky astrophysicist professed his love for the chemical engineer, revealing he can’t wait to spend the rest of his life by her side.
“I’ve never believed in such thing as the perfect woman till I met you,” he told a very shocked Chelsie.
“You encapsulate everything that I’m looking for in a woman. My biggest fear is opening up to that special someone. And having my heart broken into a thousand pieces. But coming into this experience, I promised I would throw caution to the wind and I’d overcome that fear.”

It wasn’t quite the happy ending runner-up Abbie Chatfield was hoping for, however.
“It couldn’t possibly not be me because of the way we are with each other. I know he has strong feelings for me so, like, I absolutely have his heart and I feel like we are so good together and there is no way that it wouldn’t be us at the end,” she said in the lead-up to her final chat with Matt.
Sadly, it was a different story as producers probed the 23-year-old property analyst from Brisbane afterwards.
“It’s OK. I’m so completely fine. I feel fine. I’m mostly just mad about the flight home now. I’m honestly not upset. It’s fine. I couldn’t even cry if I tried, right now. Maybe I don’t love him. Like, honestly, maybe I don’t love him, I’m not even upset.”

From the moment Matt and Chelsie laid eyes on each other, it was clear there was a spark and some serious chemistry as the two shared a passion for science.
During her red carpet arrival, the Victorian beauty gifted Matt with a temporary tattoo of the chemical formula for “oxytocin” — the love chemical.
To her disbelief, he understood the meaning behind the sentimental present!
“I can’t believe he is smart,” Chelsea told the cameras after their encounter. “That is so exciting. I actually didn’t think he would be able to understand what I was talking about at all!”

And the hunky astrophysicist admits he was starstruck from the get-go.
“It feels like she’s reading the handbook of what Matt’s looking for in a relationship,” he gushed during their first single date. “Every time with Chelsie, she just makes me happy. We have a ridiculous amount in common, and it’s just so easy and natural when we’re together.”
And now they’ve got the rest of their lives to nerd out together in scientific bliss!
Ugh, we love these two…
