We do love a man who sticks to his word. At the start of The Block, Wyatt admitted he had little (if any) construction or renovation experience, and the team would rely heavily on Chantel’s carpentry and design skills.
Instead, he told people who asked that he was a fitness coach and an amateur actor eager to pursue his passion.
Although the response was an easy one for the tradies and the audience to snigger at, Wyatt has the last laugh after officially appearing in a new ABC show.
Go Wyatt!
What ABC show is Wyatt in?
Wyatt appears in the drama miniseries Dustfall, which follows the police investigation of a calculated drink-spiking and sexual assault of a young woman in North Gap, Queensland.
Admittedly, Wyatt only appears in one episode and has a non-speaking part, but he’s seen doing what he does best: lifting weights.
As two of the investigators visit a gym after a baseball cap was found with the gym’s logo on it, Wyatt can be seen doing back presses on the cable machine.

What are fans saying about Wyatt’s new role?
The Block viewers have been wholeheartedly excited for him after one eagle-eyed fan called out the cameo on Reddit.
“Awesome. Good on him. Actually on my watch list, so I’ll keep an eye out for him,” one viewer said, while another commended Wyatt for playing to his strengths.
“Good on him. Some of us are blessed with academic brains, some of us with brawn. Whatever we have, we use it for work,” one fan said, with another joked he was “cheating” on Channel Nine by appearing on the ABC.
With the final week of renovations ending on Saturday, and the auctions next week, there’s no doubt we’ll be seeing this season’s contestants pop up in weird and wonderful places after they get control of their social media accounts back.
Here’s hoping it’s more acting gigs for Wyatt.
