Cate Blanchett’s son Ignatius to make his film debut

Cate Blanchett’s son Ignatius Martin, 8, will make his film debut in Thor: Ragnarok, alongside his mother.

The Oscar winning actress, 47, will share the spotlight with her youngest son, who will have a cameo role in the upcoming Marvel film starring Chris Hemsworth.

A studio spokesperson for the film, which is being shot on the Gold Coast, has confirmed the casting decision to The Daily Telegraph.

Blanchett will play villain Hela in the film.
