19. Daniel Radcliffe
Radcliffe went from nobody to household name practically overnight when he was just 11 years old. That kind of pressure early on drove him to abuse alcohol. Thankfully he officially quit drinking in 2012.

Cooper’s great at playing characters with substance abuse and mental health issues, partly because he can draw from personal experience. He quit drinking and doing drugs when he was 29 years old, and his career really took off shortly after that.

Shepard once admitted that “cocaine and Jack Daniels” were his faves before becoming sober. As of 2019, he’s been drug and alcohol-free for 15 years, although he’s totally cool with his wife Kristen Bell smoking a joint every once in a while.
