While sparks have flown between comedian Ash Williams and former Bachelor star Abbie Chatfield on I’m A Celeb, the jungle’s latest arrival seems to have thrown a spanner in the works. Queue love triangle.

On Tuesday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity, we all watched on as Abbie and Ash took their jungle romance to the next level, sharing a cuddle in the comedian’s sleeping bag.
But it seems the 38-year-old soon regretted his sneaky spoon as one Alli Simpson entered the camp, deeming her entrance “one day too late”.
Speaking to fellow campmates Grant Denyer and Colin Fassnidge, Ash confessed that Alli’s arrival had taken his eye firmly off Abbie.
“It is very tough,” Ash told the men, “because… like, in all seriousness, like, she is way more my type”.
The Family Feud host laughed in response, stating “A mere six hours after someone left your bed…”
After the My Kitchen Rules host warned Ash of the repercussions if he hurts “Australia’s sweetheart”, Ash revealed that it may already be too late.
“This morning, I was sitting by the fire and I said, ‘Last night’s cuddle was good.’ I said, ‘You know, maybe we could do that again,” Ash confided in Grant and Colin, earning a collective groan from the men.
And it seems that time has not healed any wounds as Abbie has taken to her Instagram to rant about Ash’s betrayal.
Posting a series of images and a video to her Insta story, Abbie expressed the anger and hurt Ash’s comments had caused her.
“If you think ur love life is bad imagine consistently being second best on national tv,” Abbie captioned the first photo.
After Ash confessed Alli’s arrival was “one day too late”, Abbie sarcastically shut him down, writing, “Yeah super funny. Super good. Sorry for trapping you with “bad timing”.
And she didn’t stop there. Proceeding to call the comedian out, Abbie wrote “Sorry you asked me to stay in your bed and then again the next night”.
She ended the series of images by writing, “Love feeling like I’m charity work”.
While her initial response seemed angry rather than hurt, the Bachelor star followed up the photos with a video that expressed just what toll Ash’s comments had left her on self-esteem.
“Being completely honest regarding tonight, I know you all probably want a feminist rant about locker room talk and boys club but, to be quite drank, I’m just hurt,” Abbie started.
“I feel like I was spoken about as though I am an inconvenience and easily discarded and I’ve been talking a bit lately about how my self-esteem hasn’t been good lately and I know you all want me to be the ‘self-love queen’ but it’s like all time low and it was just kinda a kick in the guts.”
Despite her hurt, the 25-year-old clarified there is no bad blood between her and Alli, stating “And I don’t think I have to say this isn’t all about Alli. I love her and I’m seeing her this week”.
