The AFL legend revealed his wife, Natalie Crocker is three months pregnant with their first child.
‘We are very excited,’ the retired Sydney Swans star told the Daily Telegraph.
‘We are not finding out the sex. It’s going to be a surprise.’
The couple said their ‘I do’s’ in a secret ceremony in front of 20 guests in 2016.
The passionate Aboriginal affairs advocate has vowed to pass on the pride for his indigenous heritage to his children.
‘So the most exciting thing for me is from day one this baby is going to know it’s an Aboriginal person and is connected to the longest living culture in the world, which is something I didn’t have when I was growing up,’ Goodes told GQ magazine.
