Beyoncé performed for the first time in over four years at the grand opening of Dubai’s luxury hotel, Atlantis The Royal. Receiving a rumoured $35 million AUD in payment, the US megastar put on the show of a lifetime. Despite the concert’s strict ‘no phones’ policy, the public has already been inundated with clips from the extravagant event.
The 1500-seat event had the world’s most elite in attendance, and we just can’t wrap our heads around this random Aussie guest list!
Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Jules Sebastian, Olympia Vallance, Gary Mehigan, Scott Cam, Isabelle Clarke, Sonia Kruger, and Sammy Robinson were all in attendance on the night.
While global celebs such as Kendall Jenner, Liam Payne, Ellen Pompeo, and Sabrina Elba were also in attendance, Australian audiences couldn’t help but comment on what a random group the Aussie guests were.
Despite their out-of-ordinary appearance as a collective, from the clips shared on socials, they all seemed to have a fabulous time. Seeing as the hotel itself costs roughly $200 000 AUD a night, this doesn’t come as a surprise!

As for Beyoncé’s one-hour, $35 million extravaganza, the performance definitely exuded a celestial aura. Her goddess-like outfits were staged beautifully against Lebanese dance crew The Mayyas’ crisp movements.
Bringing out her daughter, Blue Ivy, for an extra-special rendition of Brown Skin Girl, we’re sure this was a night to remember.
