4. Who are Blake Lively’s parents?
Blake Lively’s parents are Elaine and Ernie Lively. Her mother was a talent scout and her father was an actor, and together the couple taught acting classes. When Blake was a young child, she was taken along to her parents classes because it was easier than arranging for a babysitter. These classes were Blake’s first experiences with acting, and she has said that watching her parents teach gave her confidence.
5. Does Blake Lively have any siblings?
Blake Lively has an older brother, Eric Lively, two older half-sisters Robyn and Lori Lively, and an older half-brother Jason Lively. Her half-siblings are her mother’s children from an earlier marriage. All her family have made their careers in the entertainment industry.

Judging by pictures of Blake in her younger days, it does appear that the star has had some plastic surgery done. Dr Miami, plastic surgeon to the rich and famous, hasn’t worked on Blake but has given his professional opinion about her change in looks. “It does look like Blake Lively has had a rhinoplasty to slim her tip and make her bridge less wide” he said.
Dr Matthew Schulman (@realdrschulman) hasn’t operated on Blake either but has some thoughts about the look of her nose. “Blake’s nose appears more narrow in the bridge and the tip, suggesting surgery or rhinoplasty,” says Dr. Matthew, “The surgery most likely consisted of narrowing the nasal bones and trimming the cartilage of her nasal tip.”
He speculates that she likely got the surgery because “the more narrow nose better fits her face,” and that the reason her nose still looks natural is thanks to the small “imperfections and asymmetries” that her surgeon intentionally left, making the end result look more natural. As with so many things, it seems like less is more when it comes to a nose job!

Blake and Ryan met in early 2010 when they were both cast in Green Lantern. At the time, Blake was dating her Gossip Girl co-star Penn Badgley and Ryan had been married to actress Scarlett Johansson since 2008. In September 2010, Blake and Penn split but remain good friends, and in December 2010 Ryan and Scarlett release a statement announcing the end of their marriage. In 2011, Ryan flew from his home in Boston to visit Blake, who was filming Gossip Girl, in New York and shortly after they confirmed they were boyfriend – girlfriend.
On 9 September 2012, the couple were married at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. ‘Whoa, hang on just a second’, we hear you say, ‘What about their engagement?’ That’s practically what all their fans said too! Blake and Ryan kept their engagement incredibly private, so the first the media knew of it was when news of their wedding became public.
Blake’s engagement ring was designed by Lorraine Schwartz, a firm favourite amongst Hollywood A-listers like Kim Kardashian. Blake’s rose gold 12 carat ring was a custom design and is rumoured to have set Ryan back $2 million. Blake is clearly a big fan of Lorraine Schwartz’s work, and regularly teams her engagement ring with other jewels designed by the jeweller.
Blake and Ryan are inseparable and it’s clear they have such a strong bond. What’s refreshing to see is that they don’t take themselves too seriously. Blake frequently uses Ryan Gosling to troll her husband, so whether their relationship was a complete rumour or it was a brief fling, Blake clearly sees the funny side.
