When it comes to plastic surgery and cosmetic treatments, we have a firm you do you policy.
At the end of the day, it’s your body and your choice to do whatever you want with it, be it a sprinkling of Botox or a boob job.
But rather than deny claims or hide away, some celebrities have spoken very openly and honestly about their procedures.
Check out the Aussie and international celebs who don’t mind discussing the work they’ve had done.

Cardi B
If there’s one thing you can say about Cardi B, it’s that she tells it like it is.
“When I was 18 and became a dancer, I had enough money to afford to buy boobs, so every insecurity that I felt about my breasts was gone,” she told Mariah Carey in a 2021 interview for Interview Magazine.
“When I was 20, I went to the urban strip club, and in the urban strip clubs, you had to have a big butt. So I felt insecure about that. It took me back to high school. So I got my ass done.”
The WAP hitmaker has also undergone liposuction and told E! News in 2019:“When you see somebody that had lipo, you think that they just go into the doctor’s and like boop, you come out and you look amazing. But it’s actually like a very long process, recovery. It actually takes like a little bit more than three or four months.”

Chrissy Teigen
At 20-years-old, model Chrissy Teigen had a boob job but has also spoken about having her forehead, nose and lips done as well as liposuction.
“Everything about me is fake except my cheeks. Fake, fake, fake,” she told Byrdie in 2019.
However, the mum-of-two who had her breast implants removed in 2020 wants to be open about her procedures in order to help smash unhealthy beauty standards.
“You can’t set these expectations for people that everything is perfect. Everyone filters their sh*t, edits or Facetunes so you forget what normal faces or bodies look like. It’s not fair and it makes you jealous of other people’s bodies. It’s lying to people by omission,” she told Glamour in 2020.
“But also, while you want to teach your kids to be comfortable in their own skin, you want to tell them everything you can and let them decide.”

Kelly Rowland
Kelly was still in her teens when she first wanted to get a breast augmentation.
“I wanted to get breast implants when I was 18, but my mom and Beyoncé’s mom told me to really think about it first,” the Destiny’s Child singer told Shape magazine. “I took their advice and waited 10 years.”
“Once I felt ready, I tried on padded bras and walked around in them to see how it would feel. You have to know what you’re getting, no matter what type of surgery it is.”

Jennifer Aniston
She’s one of Hollywood’s most beautiful women but Jen Aniston has been clear and candid about her nose transformation.
“It’s funny. I had [a deviated septum] fixed – best thing I ever did. I slept like a baby for the first time in years. As far as all the other [rumours], as boring as it sounds, it’s still mine. All of it. Still mine,” she told PEOPLE in 2007.

Kourtney Kardashian
The eldest Kardashian sister is known for her frank attitude, and she’s just as frank when it comes to the boob job she had done when she was 21.
“I have had breast implants, but it’s so funny ’cause it’s not a secret, I could care less.”

Kris Jenner
Kourtney’s momager has a refreshing outlook on getting work done and she herself has undergone a boob job, facelift and Botox injections, the latter of which she called “really great”.
“You have to do what makes you feel good first of all,” she previously explained.
“You can’t do something because somebody else wants you to do it, you have to do great research on the doctor that you choose.”

Kylie Jenner
Sticking with the family, Kylie Jenner stunned fans when her lips suddenly became noticeably plumper.
But despite creating a makeup empire, the youngest Kardashian/Jenner admitted that fillers played a part.
“As of now, I only have lip fillers…But I’m also someone who says ‘never say never.’ If, down the line, I get to a point where I’m really uncomfortable with something on my body, I’m not against changing it,” she said in 2016.

Dolly Parton
The country music legend has one of the most iconic looks in the world and has admitted to numerous cosmetic procedures including breast implants, a brow lift, a face lift, eyelid surgery, chin augmentation, and rhinoplasty (a nose job).
“I look at myself like a show dog. I’ve got to keep clipped and trimmed and in good shape,” she said of herself.
“I would say if I — you know, if I see something sagging, dragging, or bagging, I’m going to go have the stuff tucked or plucked.”

Courteney Cox
Whilst some celebs proudly speak about the procedures they’ve had done, some like Friends star Courteney Cox chose to remove theirs.
In 2017, the actress told New Beauty: “I think that I now look more like the person that I was. I hope I do. Things are going to change. Everything’s going to drop. I was trying to make it not drop, but that made me look fake.
“You need movement in your face, especially if you have thin skin like I do. Those aren’t wrinkles—they’re smile lines. I’ve had to learn to embrace movement and realise that fillers are not my friend.”

Angie Kent
Botox and fillers aren’t taboo in Angie’s eyes – in fact she’s a “massive fan”.
“I’m a huge fan of ageing gracefully, but I’m also a massive fan of injectables and treatments,” the former Gogglebox and Bachelorette star told Body and Soul in 2020.
“I’ve been open about getting the same work done for the past five years. I’ve been honest about getting Botox. In fact, I’m mad for a little bit of Botox. I’d never not have it.”

Laura Byrne and Brittany Hockley
Bachelor stars and Life Uncut podcast Britt and Laura have admitted to having Botox injections.
Laura had her first ones done when she was 29 to impress the guy she was dating, then again after her Bachelor series in 2017 and one more time after the birth of daughter, Marlie Mae.
“When I’ve had it since, I did that for myself. I did it because I wanted to. There is nothing wrong with doing any tweaks and adjustments if you’re doing it for yourself,” she said.
Britt meanwhile had her Botox done at 31 after her Bachelor experience and said she was one of a small handful of contestants who hadn’t had anything.
“I felt really out of place, and thought ‘Oh my God I’m probably really old and ugly compared to these people.'”
“I quite liked it. I just reversed my age a year. As long as you’re doing it for yourself – whatever floats your boat.”

Sophie Monk
Whilst Sophie admitted she “can’t be bothered” to get Botox or fillers on a regular basis, she has had filler in her lip for medical reasons.
In 2011 the Beauty and the Geek host revealed her doctor suggested that she have some filler injected into her top lip following the botched removal of a cyst.
“Half of my lip was removed with the cyst and I was advised to get filler in my top lip to help balance it out,” she told WHO at the time.
“I should have said no to the filler in the first place, but I trusted the doctor.”
Jesinta Franklin
Model Jesinta Franklin has undergone a breast augmentation but says her message to all women is to make an educated decision when it comes to any cosmetic procedure.
“For me personally, there were some very personal things I needed to consider and my decision came after I had consulted medical advice and educated myself on everything about the procedure,” she told the Australian Women’s Weekly in 2015.
“I don’t encourage any young woman to go forward with cosmetic surgery unless there is a very good reason for doing so. Educate yourself and be informed.”
