Christian Wilkins has highlighted the good natured relationship he has with his father Richard Wilkins by roasting his dad with a playful jab.
Richard, the TODAY entertainment guru, recently interviewed British singer Lily Allen and proceeded to pose for an awkward photo which he then posted to Instagram.
In the image, Richard stands next to Lily with an arm around her, but instead of placing his hand on her shoulder, he awkwardly keeps it floating in the air next to her.
Christian, 23, took to the comments section and wrote, “that hover hand isn’t creepy AT ALL RW…! 😹🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️😘”
Christian told TheFIX last year that he’s able to be so playful and free due to his father, so the roast comes as some good-natured fun between the Wilkins men.
“I’ve often been told by people that they love how ‘unapologetically me’ I am. I don’t feel the need to fit in, and I’m proud of that,” he said. “However, I can’t take full credit for this way of thinking, as undoubtedly this comes from being raised in an environment where my identity was never questioned. As a child, and today still, I was always accepted, loved, and cared for by my parents.”
Christian is one of the 64-year-old’s four children.
