It’s the question on all royal fans’ lips: Just one is Meghan Markle going to give birth to Baby Sussex.
While Kensington Palace continues to shroud the birth of Harry and Meghan’s first child in mystery, there are in fact a few little clues that point to the amazing possibility that the former Suits actress may have already given birth.
The parking lot
It was reported earlier this week that Windsor Castle staffers were left baffled after being denied access to a carpark that overlooks Harry and Meghan’s new home, Frogmore Cottage.
Employees were said to be so put out that they came up with a cheeky nickname.
“Everyone’s calling them NIMBYs, meaning not in Meghan’s backyard!” an unnamed source told The Sun.
The level of security the palace is going to in order to protect Meghan and Harry’s privacy suggests they might have something to hide…like a newborn Baby Sussex.
The numbers add up.
With each of her babies, the Duchess of Cambridge undertook her last royal engagement one month before giving birth at the Lindo Wing.
Meghan’s last official outing was on March 19 – exactly 30 days ago.
And if Meghan is following in Kate’s footsteps, that could mean she’s already given birth!
Earlier this week, Harry and Meghan thanked fans via their Instagram account for the generous donations people had made in place of sending baby gifts.
On behalf of The Duke and Duchess (and Baby Sussex), we thank you so much,” read the caption.
Directly mentioning their unborn baby perhaps hints that Meghan has already given birth.
Meghan’s Make-up guru
Meghan’s BFF and make-up artist, Daniel Martin (who also did the Duchess’ make-up for her wedding) shared an Instagram story that placed him in Windsor, perhaps making sure he’s on hand to get Meghan ready for her first family photoshoot.
Charles and Camilla
Yesterday it was reported the Cornwall’s would undertake a royal trip to Germany on May 7. It’s highly unlikely that Charles would miss the opportunity to bond with his new grandchild, sparking speculation that Meghan has given birth earlier than we all think.
The royal diary
It’s been noted that yesterday Harry had a briefing from Chatham House on international affairs and then convened a roundtable on climate change at Kensington Palace. In other words, he’s still busy working.
But as Vanity Fair has pointed out, what craftier way to put the press off the scent of a new royal baby than to make Harry look busy…
