We all know Luke, Chris and Liam Hemsworth are three of our hottest exports. But the brothers’ share an equally hot dad, Mr Craig Hemsworth!
To celebrate Father’s Day 2021, all three Hemsworth brothers posted loving tributes to Craig via their respective Instagram accounts.
With his athletic build and charming smile, fans couldn’t help but point out how strong those genes are.
“Wow that Apple did not fall far from that tree. Happy Father’s Day to both you studs,” Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson commented on Chris’ post that featured a photo of himself and Craig smiling together.
“You literally are a clone of your father!!” exclaimed another fan.
Meanwhile one of Liam’s fans commented: “Dear Mr. Hemsworth, how does it feel to have participated in making two of the most beautiful men alive??…asking for a friend.”
Whilst his sons have gone on to see huge success in Hollywood, Craig and wife Leonie have had more of a humble life.
A few years after welcoming their youngest child, Liam, the couple relocated to the Northern Territory to work on a cattle farm that according to Chris was four and a half hours from the nearest town. Counsellor Craig worked in child protection services whilst Leonie worked as a teacher.
“My parents ran the community centre which doubled as a post office and grocery store. It was in the middle of nowhere,” Chris explained to the Daily Telegraph.
“There were crocodiles and buffalo. I went to a school that was made up of 60 [Aboriginal] kids between the ages of five and 17, all mashed into two classrooms.”
The family later relocated again to Phillip Island in Victoria.
According to Luke Hemsworth, the brothers were raised “basically like a pack of wild dingoes” adding on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2016 that it was “the Hemsworth house of horrors.”
“We’d wake up in the morning and literally say, ‘See ya, mum,’ and just disappear into the bush,” he explained.
“I think as we got older, parents of kids we knew would gradually drop their kids off further and further away from our house.”
These days, as the patriarch of the Hemsworth family, Craig is not only a dad of three but also a grandfather of seven.
Eldest son Luke and wife Samantha share four children – Holly, Ella, 10, Harper Rose, and Alexandre. Chris Hemsworth, meanwhile, is dad to daughter India and twin sons Tristan and Sasha, whom he shares with wife Elsa Pataky.
