Princess Eugenie of York is one of the British Royal Family’s most celebrated members.
Yet when it comes to saying the Princess’ name – there appears to be a lot of confusion.

Some people call her “you-junny” to “you-jenny“.

Thankfully a 2008 Telegraph article shared that you should be saying “yoo-juh-nee,” with an emphasis on the “yoo.”
The royal doesn’t mind that we’ve been getting it wrong.
“Whenever we used to meet foreign people who were struggling with it, my mum and I would help them by saying, ‘It’s like Use Your Knees.’ But whatever. I am now used to every pronunciation,” she said at the time.
But those closest to her don’t need to be concerned about their annunciation.
They have given her the nicknames “Youj” or “Bouj.”
