Happy Birthday Prince George!
To celebrate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released new images of their adorable son, who turns six today.
In one snap, the future king laughs as he lies playfully in the garden of their home at Kensington Palace – clad in the white England football home shirt.
A second photograph again shows George in the shirt, grinning gleefully at the camera.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share three new photographs of Prince George to mark His Royal Highness’s sixth birthday,” read a statement shared by Kensington Palace.
Meanwhile, a third picture shows the young prince, third in line to the throne, on a family holiday.
Wearing a green polo shirt and striped blue and white shorts, the prince is stood outdoors in front of a leafy backdrop.
This isn’t the first time doting mum Kate Middleton has shared her own images of her children.
The future Queen was also behind the gorgeous images released of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis earlier in the year to mark their birthday’s too.
Prince George is said to be celebrating his birthday on the Caribbean island of Mustique with his parents and siblings.
He was however treated to a very special party with only his closest school friends on the grounds of Anmer Hall, before the family left for holidays, according to the Sun.
And there’s no doubt George’s favourite Uncle attended the celebrations.
“His favourite uncle is Mike Tindall, because he larks about and never takes himself too seriously,” a source told the publication.
Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge was born in the private Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, at 4.24pm on July 22 2013.
He made his public debut in front of the world’s media on the hospital steps one day later, wrapped in a white merino wool shawl, cradled in his proud parents’ arms.
