Sure, Kendall Jenner is in her early twenties now, but she was not your typical teenager – and that’s saying something!
She’d spent nearly her entire life being followed and photographed by the paparazzi, she’s been appearing on Keeping Up With The Kardashians since she was 12 and began modelling at age 14. It’s alleged that Kendall’s net worth is currently within the vicinity of $36.6 million dollars. But that doesn’t change the fact that Kendall, just like most teenagers the world over, once had a rebellious streak.

Overview: Kendall and Hailey Baldwin were spotted heading into a Tattoo & Piercing Shop in Los Angeles together. Hailey was walking with a limp, and we found out later this is because the clumsy singer had broken her ankle as she rushed through the airport! The girls spent around an hour inside the parlour before leaving together, and shortly after this day trip, Kendall Jenner’s nipple piercing was all over the news. Coincidence? We think not!
Copycat Kendall – or copycat Kylie?
There’s nothing wrong with a bit of healthy sibling rivalry, and it would appear that Kylie and Kendall are just as competitive as any other sisters. So after Kylie Jenner’s nipple piercings broke the internet, Kendall must have followed suit, right?
Well, apparently that’s where you’d be wrong! Kendall says that it was she who first came up with the idea to get a nipple ring. Kendall wrote in her app “I wanted to get the piercing for SO long before Kylie,” Kendall writes in her app. “She did hers and then everyone thought I copied her, but I swear I had the idea first.” We can almost hear the cries of “Mum, she’s copying me?!” echoing through the Kardashian-Jenner mansion.
It turns out that Kris hasn’t seen Kendall’s piercing IRL, and we understand that. It must be hard being a mum to so many strong, independent ladies! “I must tell you the truth: The only place I’ve ever seen it is in a picture somewhere on the internet or in a magazine where it showed through,” confessed Kris on on KIIS FM’s The Kyle & Jackie O Show in July, 2016. “So I’ve never seen it in person.” It’s ok Mumma Kris, Kendall’s still your baby girl!
No matter who’s idea it was or who plucked up the courage to do it first, the fact remains that Kendall has her left breast pierced, and it looks fierce. Here are the top three times we’ve been treated to a glimpse of her nipple bar.
1. Coachella, 2016

Location: Coachella
Overview: Kendall wore a black Anine Bing bralette to the famous festival which perfectly showcased her piercing (this was no Kendall Jenner Nip Slip situation ladies and gentlemen, this was intentional fashion at its finest) Kylie was nearby, filming her favourite parts of Coachella, it was then she pulled a classic ‘young sibling superzoom’. But instead of zooming in on Kendall when she had a mouth full of food or when she was drooling in her sleep, Kylie zoomed right in on her big sis’s nip. The Internet went bananas – you can see the zoom around the 0:50 mark.
2. New York, New Nip
Date: 22 June 2016
Location: New York
Overview: Kendall spent the day exploring New York with her bosom buddies Gigi Hadid and Hailey Baldwin, with her semi-sheer black leotard drawing attention to her impressive hardware.
3. Harpers Bazaar Icons Event
Date: September 2015
Location: New York
Overview: Kendall busted out onto the red carpet in a thin white dress, eager to show off her piercing to the press. We don’t blame her – if we’d gone through the pain of a nipple piercing, we’d want the world to see it too!
Kendall’s not bothered about who cops an eyeful of her terrific ta-tas. “I’m weird,” she said in her on-camera interview with W Magazine. “I love my tits being out, it’s like one of my things.”
