Back in March, Kylie Minogue – still licking her wounds from her broken engagement to actor Joshua Sasse in 2017— got real about her romantic track record.
“I know people often like to paint me as a bit of a failure in that department,” the singer, who is coming to Australia in 2019, said.
“Maybe it’s not my destiny yet to have met the one.”
It seems fate may have stepped in. In an interview with News Corp on Nov. 11, Minogue, 50, gushed about her new beau, GQ creative director Paul Solomons, 43, six months after first confirming their romance.
“It’s been lovely and wonderful to have someone who really is there,” she said, ahead of bringing her Golden tour to Australia in March.
“It’s great to have success in your life – to have someone to share that with is really amazing.”
The couple first went public with their romance in a July Instagram post but since have kept under the radar.
Asked about her relationship on The Jonathan Ross Show on Nov. 7, Minogue said, “It’s going great, it’s fabulous. Just when you think that ‘Will it ever happen?’ it came and surprised me.”
There could be more surprises in store. After saying she’d never marry following her difficult
break-up with Sasse, she admitted to a change of heart to The Sun in July. “I might, I might not,” she said. “I did say, ‘Maybe it’s not for me.’ But the other half is, ‘Maybe’ … I don’t know.”
