Following months of fan speculation, it appears Lupita has also brought some extra star power into her orbit in the form of her new beau, Dawson’s Creek star Joshua Jackson.

While the couple have not yet confirmed their romance, it is believed that Lupita Nyong’o is currently in a relationship with Canadian actor Joshua Jackson.
Rumours of the pair’s romance first surfaced in October 2023 after TMZ shared a selection of snaps of a newly single Joshua and Lupita hanging out together in the crowd at Janelle Monáe’s concert in Inglewood, California.
Two months later, the couple were spotted out and about in Joshua Tree National Park, with the Daily Mail sharing photos of the rumoured new couple holding hands while walking through the park.
News of the Hollywood star’s new relationship followed confirmation of Lupita’s split from and Joshua’s splits from their respective partners, with Lupita taking to social media to confirm that she had parted ways with commentator Selema Masekela.
Speaking to Us Weekly in December 2023, sources told the publication, “Joshua and Lupita have been dating for a very short while now. They’re focusing on keeping their relationship under the radar as much as possible.”
“Although it’s only been a few weeks, they were friends before dating, so they have a really solid foundation for a relationship.”
Following months of speculation, both Lupita and Joshua refrained from commenting publicly on their relationship, however, in February 2024, photographs were shared that captured the couple sharing a kiss on the beach in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, with many fans taking the new snaps as confirmation of their blossoming love story.

Prior to her relationship with Joshua Jackson, Lupita Nyong’o was most recently linked to musician and sports commentator Selema Masekela.
Although very little is known about the timeline of their relationship, it is believed that the pair first crossed paths while on board a flight in 2016, with their relationship reportedly evolving into a romance in early 2022.
After keeping their relationship largely out of the public eye, Lupita took to Instagram in October 2023 to confirm the couple had parted ways.
“At this moment, it is necessary for me to share a personal truth and publicly dissociate myself from someone I can no longer trust. I find myself in a season of heartbreak because of a love suddenly and devastatingly extinguished by deception,” she wrote.
