All eyes were on Meghan Markle as she cheered on friend Serena Williams at the US Open on Saturday.
The Duchess of Sussex sat in the tennis ace’s box, alongside Serena’s husband, Alexis Ohanian, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and Serena’s sister Venus Williams.

Williams lost her battle with Canadian Bianca Andreescu 6-3, 7-5.

The former Suits actress and mother-of-one was snapped sporting a denim shirt dress by designer J.Crew, along with a grey cardigan and aviator sunglasses.
The 38-year-old left husband Prince Harry and son Archie Harrrison at home for the whirlwind two day trip.

Meghan believed to have flown commercial following backlash over her use of private jets.
A source told The Times: “It is a last-minute trip. Excited to support her friend, and then come back.”

Meanwhile another insider told the New York Post that the trip was part motivated by damage control following her highly publicised use of private jets.

“She’s coming after the scandal over people taking photos of her at Wimbledon this summer and will come with at least two police protection officers,” the source said, “but they won’t be able to stop gawkers from taking photos.”
