Michael and Kyly Clarke faced every parents worse nightmare when their three-year-old daughter Kelsey Lee was rushed to hospital earlier this month.
The couple have now revealed exactly what happened to their little girl.
Retired cricketer Michael told The Daily Telegraph on Thursday that Kelsey-Lee was struggling to breathe following a very bad asthma attack.
“‘She had a really bad attack and was having trouble breathing,” the 37-year-old cricketer said.
Kyly added, “When it has to do with breathing, you don’t think twice, you just take them to the hospital so that is what we did.”
In early November, Michael shared the news to Instagram, posting a short video of his daughter sitting in the emergency room.
“My little girl is still not doing well,” the 37-year-old sportsmen captioned.
He later took to Instagram to share, “My 😇 is on the mend. Back 🏠 on the 🛋 😘”
