Just hours after they posed for the public with their newborn, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have taken to Instagram to share three of their favourite pictures taken from the day.
“Today The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to share their first public moment as a family,” they captioned the three new stunning photographs.
“They are so incredibly grateful for the warm wishes and support they’ve received from everyone around the world, since welcoming their son two days ago.”
Earlier today, Harry and Meghan presented their precious bundle joy who was sleeping soundly in his fathers arms.
Meghan, who was glowing in a white dress just two days after giving birth, told the world she couldn’t be happier to be a mother.
“He’s just been the dream so it’s been a special couple of days,” the former actress gushed, before praising her husband.
“It’s magic, it’s pretty amazing. I have the two best guys in the world so I’m really happy.”
Asked how he was finding parenting, Harry said: “It’s great. Parenting is amazing.
“It’s only been two-and-a-half days, three days, but we’re just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy.”
Harry said they were looking forward to spending some “precious times with him as he slowly, slowly starts to grow up.”
The couple, who welcomed their first child on May 6, will now introduce their son to the Queen. A name is expected to be announced shortly after.
“It’s fatherhood) the most amazing experience I could have ever possibly imagined. How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension, but we’re both absolutely thrilled,” Harry said.
