It’s almost time!
The day is finally here – tonight at around 9pm AEST Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will finally tie the knot at St George’s Chapel in Windsor. And it couldn’t come soon enough for us.
The happy couple spent the day before their nuptials in Windsor – Meghan (dressed in Roland Mouret) and her mother Doria Ragland finally emerging from the castle where they had spent the afternoon having tea with the Queen to head to their hotel – The Cliveden House – where they was expected to celebrate with dinner with friends. The smiling mother and daughter are said to have eaten sponge cake and jam sandwiches as Doria met the monarch for the first time.
Prince Harry meanwhile, surprised the crowds outside the Castle – he and brother William heading outside the gates for a ten-minute walkabout – shaking hands and posing for photos with wellwishers.
The prince told the crowd he was feeling great and joked he just wanted to get to the pub.
The groom won’t now see his bride until the moment she walks down the aisle with his father Prince Charles – Meghan is staying at the Cliveden House, 15km from Windsor Castle, while Harry is staying at Coworth Park in Ascot with best man William.
