If you were excited to watch the Megxit drama unfold on The Crown, you might be in for a bit of a wait.

Chronicling the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, the insanely popular TV drama has already given viewers around the world a glimpse into many real-life events in British royal history.
Season four is currently in production, and at this point in the historical timeline (circa 1983), a young Princess Diana has arrived on the scene, married Charles and given birth to the pair’s first son, William.
But Harry has burst the bubble of Crown fans, insisting that his recent departure from the royal family will definitely not make it to our screens.
Speaking to BBC Breakfast, royal biographer Angela Levin said:
“When I went to interview [Harry] at the Palace, the first thing he said to me when I shook his hand was, ‘Are you watching The Crown?'”
“I hadn’t been at the time, I felt very embarrassed and I got it, and he said, ‘I’m going to make sure I stop it before they get to me.'”
And unfortunately for fans (but in a stroke of luck for the soon-to-be-ex royals and their eight-month-old tot Archie), the show’s producer Suzanne Mackie says the Sussexes are probably safe, as the hit series won’t go as far as the current day’s events.
“To be honest, whatever The Crown is after where we are now, I doubt we’ll ever go as far into the present day,” she told BBC.
The pair’s recent controversy may not be getting the Hollywood treatment, but it still has the world talking – particularly amidst new reports that claim Meghan is telling friends Harry’s split from the royal family “is the best thing that could ever happen to him”.
Speaking to Daily Mail, a pal of the Duchess of Sussex said Meghan believes “‘it was her love for him that made this possible”.
According to the friend, Meghan was worried for Harry and couldn’t watch him suffer any more by being part of the royal family.
According to Daily Mail, the friend claimed Meghan said “that out of anyone he will flourish the most and that it was her love for him that made this possible”.
The insider also alleged that:
“Meghan told her friends that there is no rush to move out of the place they’ve been staying [in Canada]. That they’re welcome to live there as like as they like.”
