The royal family turned out to enjoy the first day of Royal Ascot races, with Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, and Zara and Mike Tindall all dressing up for the event.
While the crowds watched the royals having fun in their finery, it was Mike Tindall’s conversation with the Queen that had royal fans captivated.
The former rugby captain, who is married to the Queen’s granddaughter, Zara, showed off his sense of humour while speaking to Queen Elizabeth.
While the dad-of-two was filmed showing the Queen, Beatrice and the Countess of Wessex the contents of his top hat – the queen laughed loudly as Mike pulled out a miniature top hat from inside.
Mike then replaced the mini version, and popped his hat back on his head.
