The 39-year-old married the red-headed IT specialist in 2013, after dating for five years.

The pair were wed in a ceremony at prestigious Sydney private boys’ high school Riverview, in the St Ignatius Chapel, with the reception held at the  Royal Sydney Golf Club in Rose Bay.

“I am so excited to celebrate my love for my best mate Tom,” Sarah told The Daily Telegraph at the time.

“He is just such a beautiful beautiful soul and I am so lucky to have him.”

The couple first met during a night out at the now closed Fringe Bar on Oxford Street in Sydney’s Paddington, but it was a chance meeting that almost didn’t happen at all!

“I wasn’t even supposed to be going out that night … but my friend dragged me out and this tall red-haired man strolled over and struck up a conversation with me and it was just perfect,” Sarah told the publication.

Five years later, Tom proposed to the stunning blonde on Balmoral Beach, and the rest, as they say, is history.

The couple now have two young sons together, Paul, four, and Harry, two, and live in Cremorne, on Sydney’s leafy north shore.

Sarah has previously gushed about her husband on social media and his hands-on approach to fatherhood.

“If Paul grows up to be half the man my husband is, I shall be a very proud mama. We ❤️ ya Big Red!” Sarah posted on Instagram on Father’s Day a few years ago, referencing the cheeky nickname she has for Tom.

In another Instagram post featuring Tom and her son Paul, Sarah penned a heartfelt caption alongside the photo.

Earlier this year, Sarah revealed the couple are considering whether they’ll try for a third child.

“Having a third child is something we’re currently contemplating … I’m getting on!” she joked to Woman’s Day in January.

“Look, I adore the newborn phase and I love my two kids, but they are a real handful. I certainly thought I would be all in for a third…”

She says ensuring her kids are grounded is her and Tom’s main priority.

“I’d hate to raise a couple of spoilt little brats – that’s my biggest fear! I’m in a lucky position: we’re not stressing about money every single day, and I know what that feels like: it’s bloody awful!” confessed Sarah, who grew up on a housing commission estate in Mount Druitt in Sydney’s west.

“My family, we’re not wearing designer clothes, we’re not travelling overseas, it’s not a priority for me. I want my kids to realise that where they are now, it’s not normal. I think it’s important for my kids to know that a lot of other Aussie kids are doing it tough.”

Sarah recently revealed that Tom suffers from a rare neurological disorder where he constantly falls asleep.

“My husband’s actually a narcoleptic,” Sarah told the cast of Have You Been Paying Attention when she appeared on the program in 2018.

She told a hilarious anecdote about her husband’s condition and revealed that he once managed to sleep through a helicopter ride while on a trip to Las Vegas, missing the entire scenic flight.

“Before they’d taken off, Tom had fallen asleep – so he’d paid $500 to see the sights of Las Vegas, landed and went: ‘Oh, that was a great sleep!’” she told the panel.

“Totally slept through the entire thing.”

When host Dave Hughes asked Sarah whether Tom’s condition had “ever affected your love life?” she had the perfect response.

“To my advantage,” Sarah jokingly replied, adding, “I don’t have to fake a headache as much!”
