Child star Sophia Grace Brownlee is pregnant.
The now 19-year-old announced the news in a YouTube video on Sunday, amassing over a million views within 24 hours.

The child star became a global sensation in 2011 after she appeared alongside her cousin Rosie McClelland, 16, on The Ellen DeGeneres Show after a video of the duo singing and dancing along to Nicki Minaj’s Super Bass went viral online.
Over the next ten years, the cousins appeared on the show over 30 times, last appearing in May 2022 for the final season of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Now, both teens are busy pursuing careers in music, Brownlee released her single Little Things and an accompanying music video earlier this year.
And now, music it seems will be temporarily pushed aside in favour of motherhood for Brownlee!
At 21 weeks (or five months), Brownlee told fans that like fans, she was “very shocked” when she found out.
“I’m sure a lot of you are going to be very shocked because it probably was quite unexpected,” she said.
“But I was very shocked when I first found out. I got used to it now and I’m super, super happy about it. And I can’t wait to share this journey with you guys.”
According to Brownlee, whilst she already knows the gender of bubs to be, fans will have to wait for an official gender reveal which Brownlee will film and upload to her official YouTube channel in the coming months.
“It’s been a very exciting journey so far and I am looking forward to sharing it with my subscribers as Youtube has always been a big part of my life.”
In the video, Brownlee revealed her growing baby was now the size of a banana and in a recent sonogram she even saw the infant sucking its thumb.
“That was literally so cool because it’s mad to think there’s literally, like, another life inside of you. So that was super cool,” she said.
Although she made no mention of the baby’s father in the video, she did express her happiness over the news and begged her followers to refrain from leaving any critical comments.
“I feel like 19 is quite young, obviously, to have a baby,” she told E! News. “Usually most people are like, ‘You should have babies when you’re 30 and you’re married and you live in your own house,’ which is completely fine. But obviously, everyone’s gonna have their different opinions.”
“I just feel it’s about the person themselves,” she said. “And as long as you feel ready and it’s something that you’re happy about, then it’s really no one else’s problem.”
Additionally, she asked that they remain upbeat and positive for the remainder of her pregnancy. She reportedly said, “I keep that side of my life pretty private, but I do have a boyfriend and I’ve been with him for maybe two years but I don’t post him on Instagram or anything.”
If our estimates are correct, a new Nicki Minaj superfan will be gracing our ears in February 2023.
