When we tune into The Bachelor, we know what we’re signing up for: Lots of romance, and lots of on-screen kissing.

But what happens when the cameras stop rolling?

According to former The Bachelorette contestant Carlin Sterritt, A LOT goes on that never makes it to air.

Tuning in to watch Locky Gilbert on The Bachelor this season, Carlin, who found love with our last year’s Bachelorette Angie Kent before their recent split, revealed there are black spots all over the mansion where prying cameras can’t see what’s really going down.

Furthermore, those well-known blackspots are well-utilised for secret rendezvous.

“[There’s] the orchard, the secret place you can go to for chats and stuff… [Angie and I] macked on at so many cocktail parties,” he said in an Instagram video this week.

“But obviously they didn’t show it.”

The fitness instructor went on to add that it’s all but certain our current Bachie Locky would be doing a lot of secret kissing off-camera.

“If you’re wondering, girls, yes, Locky is macking on with many girls at the cocktail parties. It’s happening. 100 per cent.”

Carlin was the last man standing with a rose in hand on Angie’s season of The Bachelorette, with the couple going on to date until very recently.

Angie and Carlin confirmed rumours they had split on July 1.

“We have not wanted to confirm until this point because there have been much bigger issues going on in the world and we’ve both been taking space to think about what we really want,” Angie said on Instagram, before apologising to “invested” fans.

“I appreciate everyone’s concern and the investment that many of you made into the show and our story, but this is real life and we both need privacy and time to heal.”
